Boy Minos

Boy Minos is the alter ego of singer-songwriter Stanley Christiaensen, an Antwerp-based storyteller who delves deep into the human experience through his music. From the intimate setting of his bedroom, an obsessive quest emerged—a search for a place to escape daily worries. This journey resulted in songs with dreamy melodies, deep melancholy, and a nod to both 60’s and 70’s pop (think The Beatles, Townes Van Zandt, Ry Cooder) as well as contemporary indie rock (like Arctic Monkeys).

In October 2024, alongside the release of his debut single “Riddle,” a short film directed by Luka Galle (Lukascope) will also premiere. This visually artistic film reveals the musical world of Boy Minos and features fragments of the four tracks found on his self-titled debut EP, Boy Minos, set for release on November 29.

For this EP, Boy Minos collaborated with producer Iskander ‘Moon’ Moens (known for De Afrekening and PIAS), who helped him further enrich and refine his unique sound.
